Description
Restoration of approximately 9,435 LF of Reedy Creek from Hood Road to Interstate 485 and restoration of approximately 3,155 LF of Reedy Creek Tributary 2 from Robinson Church Road to the confluence with Reedy Creek Main Stem in Charlotte, NC. INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00 AM on April 14, 2026, in the office of
LUESA’s Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, 2145 Suttle Avenue,
Charlotte, NC 28208 for the construction of the Reedy Creek Stream Restoration
Project at which time and place, all properly submitted Bids will be opened and
read aloud at the Fourth Floor, Woods Conference Room. Single-prime, unit cost
bids will be received for construction as indicated in the bidding documents.
Proposals must be made on standard forms furnished by the County. No verbal or
electronic bids will be accepted. Bidders or their authorized agents and other
interested parties are invited to attend.
This project is the restoration of approximately 9,435 LF of Reedy Creek from Hood
Road to Interstate 485 and restoration of approximately 3,155 LF of Reedy Creek
Tributary 2 from Robinson Church Road to the confluence with Reedy Creek Main
Stem in Charlotte, NC. Stream restoration measures include in-channel and

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM
at 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28202 – Fourth Floor, Woods
Conference Room.
