The City of Andover, Kansas is soliciting bids for the execution of a lease-purchase
agreement for the lease/purchase of a Pierce Enforcer Pumper (fire truck), including all
apparatuses. A list of the equipment and options is attached to this letter.
The estimated cost of the equipment and legal fees is $1,018,000.00.
The following terms are requested:
• A 10-year maturity with [annual] principal and interest payments beginning
on April 1st, 2026. (See Exhibit A-1 of the attached Lease/Purchase
Agreement.)
• Funds made available on or about October 24, 2025.
• The option to exercise purchase of the equipment at any time for the
amount of outstanding principal.
• Execution of the attached Lease/Purchase Agreement.
