CITY OF GIRARD, TRUMBULL COUNTY, OHIO

Notice is hereby given that the Trumbull County Commissioners will receive sealed bid documents at their office, 5th Floor, 160 High Street NW, Warren, Ohio, at 3:00 P.M. on April 15, 2025, for the EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CARE CENTER MASONRY & WINDOWS PROJECT located at 2 North State Street, Girard, Ohio 44420 and funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Development Program, B-F-23-1CS-1, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CARE CENTER MASONRY & WINDOWS PROJECT will consist of removing the existing windows (27 total) in the supportive housing apartments on the second floor of the building and replacing them with commercial grade windows that are water tight, masonry repairs/restoration work for one (1) existing chimney and grinding out and tuck pointing the portions of the North, South, East and West walls, applying waterproofing treatment to building bricks, cornices, capitals, and all other stone elements for the entire structure, and applying joint sealants as directed. These items are a partial listing of the quantities contained in the bid documents; therefore, the Bidders should review the bid document for a complete itemization of all quantities of work. The contractor shall complete the work within fifty (50) calendar days of the “Notice To Proceed” date. The contractor shall pay liquidated damages for each consecutive calendar day of delay thereafter until completed in the amount of $250.00 per day.

Sealed bids must be submitted using only the forms contained in the bound Project Bid Documents and Specifications and must be sealed in individual envelopes addressed to Lisa DeNunzio Blair, Clerk, Trumbull County Commissioner’s office, 5th Floor, 160 High Street N.W., Warren, Ohio 44481, with the project name “EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CARE CENTER MASONRY & WINDOWS PROJECT” clearly shown on the envelope. The full name and address of the party or parties making the Bid and all persons interested therein shall be named in the Bid Documents. The bid package is required to be filled in completely and returned intact. Each Bidder must also submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, along with verifiable reference for such work.
