Project Description: The scope of this project will be to provide all the labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to add two pumps to the existing pump cans located in Pump Station 3, add two additional mainline drains to the existing Traverse Transmission Line (TTL), replace the existing surge tank compressor and associated appurtenances, perform lighting and electrical improvements to the existing pump station, as well as rehabilitate cathodic protection facilities along the TTL, as described in the project plans and specifications.
Portions of Work will take place under critical shutdown schedules as outlined in these documents. Coordination will be required with the City to manage water supply to residents on Traverse Mountain during these shutdown periods. There will be a limited and fixed volume of water available in the City’s storage reservoirs to maintain water supply to these residents during these periods as required for shutting down and tying in the new facilities to the existing Traverse Line.
Bid documents and specifications will be posted on U3P-Bonfire on or before Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 at 12:00pm. 5% Bid Bond will be required. A Pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 PM, on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The meeting will be held in Draper City Hall Council Chambers, 1020 E. Pioneer Road.
Questions concerning the scope of work, response submittal, or process should be directed to us electronically through U3P-Bonfire before 5:00pm on Friday, August 8th, 2025.
The Engineering Division will receive electronic responses on U3P-Bonfire until 1:00pm on Thursday, August 14th, 2025. Responses received after this time will not be accepted. Responses will be publicly opened at the above-stated time and date, with only the names of the firms submitting responses and their total bid amounts being read. All interested parties are invited to attend.
The City is not responsible for expenses incurred prior to award by the City Council. Draper City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any irregularities, informalities, or technicalities deemed in the best interest of the City.
