West Memphis School District
Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Roof System
The West Memphis School District is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the design and construction of two roofing projects. These projects will enhance the infrastructure and safety of our educational facilities.
Project Overview
• Project Name: Roof Systems Installation
• Location: Maddox: 2100 East Barton Avenue and Richland Elementary: 1011 West Barton Avenue
• Scope of Work: Design: provide design proposals, incorporate sustainable
materials and practices, ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Construction: complete demolition and removal of existing roofing systems, install new durable systems with concern for long-term performance and safety, minimal school activity disruptions
Submission Guidelines
Deadline for Submission:Responses are to be received no later than 4 December 2025 , at 2:00 PM
• Clearly label the envelope: “RFQ for Roof Systems - West Memphis School District.”
• Submissions are to be delivered to 301 South Avalon Street, West Memphis, AR 72301, addressed to Dr. Cedric Hawkins
Required Qualifications
Interested companies must provide the following information: Company Profile:
• Name, address, and contact information
• Years in business
• Number of employees
Relevant Experience:
• Brief description of past projects with roof systems
• List of at least three references from previous clients, including contact information
Certifications:
• Copies of relevant certifications, licenses, and insurance coverage, warranty information for materials and workmanship
Project Approach:
• Outline your approach to the project, including detailed project timeline and methodology
• Cost-effectiveness of the proposal
Selection Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated by the district team based on the following criteria:
• Relevant experience and qualifications
• Quality and sustainability of proposed roofing solutions
• Proximity to and familiarity with area where project is located
• Cost-effectiveness
• Ability to meet project timelines
