Title: Renewable Energy Facility (REF) Waste Heat Boiler Repair Services

Under the terms of this bid, the bidder shall be capable of providing repair services required for the District’s REF Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) units located at the District’s Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center (SWWTC). The equipment covered under this repair contract include, but are not limited to, the three (3) WHB units, associated piping, and boiler feedwater piping. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, diagnostic, and other tools necessary to provide support services and to complete the requested repairs as described in these specifications. The WHBs are vital to the plant processes. It is imperative that if a boiler is identified as needing a repair, response by the Contractor shall be prompt per the contracts requirements. All repairs shall be made to bring the boiler to the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Standards and the manufacturer’s recommended operating standards.
Non-mandatory pre-bid site inspections are to be scheduled with the facility representative identified in the Detailed Specifications (DS-2) between September 25th, 2025 - September 29th, 2025. Site inspections are to be completed by 2:00 pm on Monday, September 29th, 2025.
This contract includes estimates needed for a two (2) year period or until funds are appropriated to this contract are exhausted, whichever should occur first.
