Description:
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary to perform Preventative Boiler Maintenance Repairs, Emissions Testing, Annual Certification located at Fresno AVCRAD, 5168 E Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA 93727. Work to include: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, labor and equipment to provide preventative maintenance and annual testing for a large industrial boiler. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 37330 - DO NOT OPEN.
Bidders are not required to visit the worksite.¿Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the local conditions, to accurately measure area and ensure the actual area of work for the preparation of their bid.¿Contractors bidding without visiting the worksite, do so at their own risk.¿Bidders can schedule a worksite visit by contacting the CM CPT Max Montellano at Max.montellano@cmd.ca.gov or the ACM Tsgt Andres Garcia-Acosta at Andres.garcia-acosta@cmd.ca.gov.
In fairness to all bidders in the competitive process, contractors shall not have the opportunity to adjust their price after proposal submission. Contractors must account for cost fluctuation and material logistics in the market when bidding.¿
The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-4 - Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting Contractor license, or subcontract to one.
All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 12/8/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 37330.
If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 12/15/2025 at 2:00 PM.
