Garner 25/26 Timber Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a clearcut of approximately 218 acres of sand pine on Blackwater River State Forest in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties, Florida (SFI Certified Forest BVC-SFIFM-700005). Within the sale area, longleaf and slash pine have been marked to keep. Timber marked with yellow paint is not to be harvested or damaged. All unmarked pine within the sale area is available for harvest. Estimated volume for the sale is: 7,997 tons of pine pulpwood. Sale area boundaries are marked with double dots of orange paint.  This will be a 12-month contract. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
