CH-53K® Power Distributor Units (PDUs), Non-Recurring Engineering, and Associated Technical Data

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order (N0001924F0288) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-23-G-0002 to Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company to procure PDUs, NRE, and associated Technical Data for the CH-53K® Main Rotor Damper Improvement effort. The delivery order was awarded to the Sikorsky in the amount of $4,172,000.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0508, dated 15 December 2020 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
