Mining Expendable Delivery Unmanned Submarine Asset (MEDUSA) Award

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded contract N00024-24-C-6315 for the procurement of the Mining Expendable Delivery Unmanned Submarine Asset (MEDUSA). The contract is for design, development, and prototyping of the MEDUSA system in support of management of the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants, Unmanned Maritime Systems Program Office (PMS 406), including a risk reduction asset, prototype systems and software, a physical configuration audit and technical development package (level 3), integrated logistics products, ashore support equipment, provisioned item ordering, engineering support, and other direct costs.
