Functional Space Programming and Master Planning Services

The City of Watertown (MA) invites proposals from qualified architect/engineering firms to provide Functional Space Programming and Master Planning Services for the City of Watertown Senior Center. The contract between the City and the Designer may be amended to include continued designer services through construction contract award, construction administration, final closeout and warranty period of the potential project. The bid will be submitted in accordance with the Submission Requirements with this RFQ. The contract will be awarded under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 7C §§ 44-58.

The fee will be negotiated for services dependent upon an evaluation of the level of effort required, job complexity, specialized knowledge required, estimated construction cost, comparison with past project fees, and other considerations.

Briefing Session: A briefing session regarding the project will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 12 pm at the City of Watertown Senior Center located at 31 Marshall Street, Watertown MA. 02472.

The RFQ will be bid ELECTRONICALLY. Bid documents, forms, specifications and conditions, and bid guidelines will be available online from www.projectdog.com website starting at 12pm on Friday, June 12, 2026. To obtain documents, log on to the website at www.projectdog.com and click “Sign Up” or login with your existing account. Put the Project Code 875318 in the box found in the upper right corner of the screen. Select “Acquire Documents” at the bottom of the page to download the RFQ. Proposers shall submit a technical non-price proposal which includes everything responsive to this RFQ. This technical non-price should be clearly marked “RFQ 875318 Technical Proposal” and submitted electronically.

RFQ Deadline: Proposals are due through the Projectdog submission portal by Thursday July 16, 2026, 10:00 am. Hand delivered proposals will not be accepted.
