Project Description: The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter a contract with a Voluntary Benefit Carrier (Proposer) to provide comprehensive and competitively priced group voluntary accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity benefits to the approximately 4,000 employees of Salt Lake County (County) working 20+ hours. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a contract award to a single provider. The County aims to present choices during the annual enrollment (November 2025) with employee selections taking effect January 1, 2026.
