REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FILED SUB-BID SERVICES
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE PROJECT
FOR TRADE SUBCONTRACTOR PACKAGES IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES MASONRY, ROOFING AND FLASHING, PAINTING, HEATING, VENTILATION & AIR CONDITIONING, ELECTRICAL, METAL WINDOWS, WATERPROOFING, DAMP PROOFING, AND CAULKING, MISCELLANEOUS AND ORNAMENTAL IRON, PLUMBING.
TOWN OF LENOX Request for Qualifications and Statement of Qualifications for Filed Sub Bid Contractor Prequalification The Town of Lenox is seeking statements of qualification (SOQ) from qualified and experienced Filed Sub-Bidder (FSB) Contractors. The project includes equipment upgrades and other improvements at the Towns Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The estimated construction cost is $36,153,000. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first part of a two step RFQ process as provided in M.G.L. c. 149, Section 44D.75. Based on the SOQs received in this Phase I, the Town will select respondents it deems to be prequalified in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFQ. In Phase II, the prequalified respondents will be invited to submit bids in response to an RFP. Only Filed Sub bid firms prequalified for this project in Phase I will be permitted to submit bids in Phase II. The Town is prequalifying the following FSB trades for this project (with estimated costs as indicated) Masonry ($1,640,000) Roofing and Flashing ($905,000) Painting ($198,000) Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning ($1,519,000) Electrical ($5,053,000) Metal Windows ($213,000) Waterproofing, Damp Proofing, and Caulking ($181,000) Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron ($652,000) Plumbing ($434,000). Statements of Qualification will be received at the Town of Lenox Town Hall located at 6 Walker Street, Lenox, MA 01240 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday February 19, 2025.
