To address these challenges, the Department of Health (DOH) is offering a solicitation to partner with an organization to coordinate the doula project to empower and elevate community-based doulas from the target population, ensuring access to culturally competent care and bridging the healthcare provider gap. The organization will collaborate with the DOH to implement a comprehensive statewide program that trains and manages a team of culturally aligned, community-based doulas. The program will also provide holistic, wraparound services for families, integrating social, mental health, and clinical support systems.
