PURPOSE OF RFI:
The purpose of this RFI is to gather information about potential solutions to achieve the following high level objectives:
- Recruit individuals to participate in research studies conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Office of Survey Methods Research (OSMR), where the eligibility criteria vary by study.
- Upon successful completion of the study, provide a monetary incentive to individuals. Ensure participants are remunerated appropriately, including capturing signatures and retaining required records, as needed.
- Coordinate with BLS/OSMR staff to identify and implement appropriate recruiting strategies, including timing and mode of recruitment. In consultation with BLS/OSMR researchers, develop, design, and place advertisements for recruiting, as needed. Identify and contact appropriate organizations that may serve as sources for potential participants.
- Handle participant information in accordance with BLS confidentiality and privacy policies and standards.
- Provide status updates and summary reports (on a real-time and/or periodic basis) to BLS/OSMR.
