2026 Street Tree Removal Services

Sealed bids for the 2026 Street Tree Removal Services will be received by the City of Clayton, Public Works Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 1:00 P.M. local time, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397.
The Scope of Work consists of tree removal on the public rights-of-way to include but not limited to; tree lawns (street trees between the curb and sidewalk), medians, islands, and common areas. The selected contractor will be responsible for supplying all personnel and equipment to safely cut down trees; remove, load, and haul all logs and wood chips; and clean up all remaining debris from the designated locations throughout the city.
An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:00 PM local time, on Friday, October 24th, 2025 in Conference RM A, 1st Floor,10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY BID AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY.
