Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Inspector General (VA‑OIG), intends to issue a sole source award for the procurement and installation of Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card readers and associated hardware required for access‑controlled door openings located at the GAO Headquarters Building, 441 G Street NW, Washington, DC.

This requires leveraging the existing CCURE access control system, which is proprietary and maintained solely by GAO Physical Security and to esure compatibility. Versar Global Solutions is the only vendor authorized to provide compatible CCURE hardware and integration services within the facility and is a current GSA Schedule contract.

The requirement includes installation of PIV‑enabled card readers, magnetic locks, electric strikes, crash bars, DPS devices, PIR REX sensors, and all necessary cabling, conduit, terminations, programming, and testing for twelve access‑controlled doors.
