Bid Description:
10 V.S.A. § 6603c and 10 V.S.A. § 6618 requires that a portion of the Solid Waste Management Assistance Fund be used for municipalities to meet requirements for proper management and diversion of household hazardous waste and landfill banned materials as outlined in their Solid Waste Implementation Plans.

The State of Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (hereinafter the State) is seeking applications for the 2026 Solid Waste Implementation Program (SWIP). Up to $614,000 is available for the 2026 grants. The grant amounts are based on a set formula explained in the “Funding Allocation” section of this RFA.
