ROADWAY SWEEPING SERVICE on designated District 4 areas.

PROJECT:
Sweeping of the designated areas listed on the attached map and detailed list to be completed by May 16, 2025 as shown on the map, weather permitting.  See Exhibit C.

Bid total project, including mobilization.

Sweepings can be dumped at MnDOT Truck Stations 7-24, access will be provided.  See Exhibit C document for the list of MnDOT Truck Stations.

EQUIPMENT USED FOR SWEEPING MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING CAPABILITIES:
1)  MUST be Pickup Style Broom
2)  Dual Gutter Broom
3)  High lift hopper that can unload directly into a dump truck.
4)  Obtain highway road speed
5)  Spray water for dust control

INSURANCE:
Each bidder should include with their bid proof of insurance for general liability, automobile liability and workers compensation.  Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid.  A completed Certificate of Insurance is required prior to final award and before the work can begin.  See Exhibit B Insurance Requirements.

STATE EXCISE AND USE TAX:
The responder is understood to include in its response price any applicable State or Federal sales, excise or use tax on all materials, supplies and equipment that are to be utilized. The state's Direct Pay permit will not apply.

MOBILIZATION: Mobilization should be included in the project price.

This solicitation includes construction trade work as defined by the MN Department of Labor and Industry, Prevailing Wage Requirements DO apply.
