Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of an RBR sensor package from RBR LTD as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. Sensors must measure conductivity (to infer salinity), temperature, pressure (to infer depth), oxygen, light, turbidity, and fluorescence at high frequency (minimum 8 Hz). The sensor package must be customized to integrate with the DMO Wirewalker and have minimal power draw. The sensor package must also have a sampling scheme that allows a slower sample rate during the Wirewalker’s descents to economize memory and battery power, and a higher sample rate during its smooth ascents for increased vertical resolution. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at procurement@oregonstate.edu by 03/24/25 at 10:30AM PST. For additional information please contact Hannah Punches by email at Hannah.Punches@oregonstate.edu
