Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of Micro Credential Development Evaluation and Recognition for Maritime Space from Marine Technical Society as a sole source because of the contractor being the only provider able to meet critical parameters or timeframes to support the research and/or business needs of the university. OSU is conducting work associated with the Micro Credential Development Program supported by the US Department of Education we are in need of assistance in evaluation and recognition of credential gained. Development of a credential that can be hosted at the Hatfield Marine Science center is in need of experts to evaluate the content, provide guidance on curriculum and have the authority to provide a credential to hold merit for industry recognition. Marine Technical Society hosts their own micro-credential effort across the US with multiple partner Universities. No other organization is setup to contract for the services and Marine Technology Society is the only one that has the relationships, expertise in content, and mechanism to deliver content in this space. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at
