Notice is hereby given that electronic bid proposals will be received by Kenmore City Clerk at bids@kenmorewa.gov. Bids are due no later than 11:00:00 AM EXACTLY, Pacific local time. Bid proposals received after this date and time will not be considered. Bids for the above referenced project will be opened and publicly read via webcast 15 minutes after bids are due, or 11:15:00 AM. The link to the

virtual bid opening will be provided on the City’s website at www.kenmorewa.gov/requestsforproposals at least 1 hour prior to the webcast. Bidders shall refer to Section II – Instructions to Bidders and General Terms and Conditions for additional information of bid submission.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 7330 NE 170th St in Kenmore, WA. Bidders (prime contractors only) are required to attend the pre-bid meeting in order to submit a responsive Bid. Bids submitted by Bidders not attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be considered nonresponsive and will not be considered for award.

The City of Kenmore seeks a contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project referenced above. The work shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct fish passage improvements at two locations within the “Tributary 0057” stream including large woody material, step controls, localized pools, and other streambed restoration. Ancillary work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a temporary stream bypass, temporary erosion and sediment controls, and native vegetation.

All bidding shall be based upon compliance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions.

The estimated construction cost: $200,000.00.

It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification

of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Plans, specifications, and addenda are also available for viewing only at the City of Kenmore City Hall. All questions regarding this project shall be submitted electronically to Andrew Silvia at asilvia@kenmorewa.gov . The City will not respond to phone calls or in-person requests.

All bidders must certify that they are not on the Controller General’s list of ineligible contractors or on the list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non-procurement programs.
