Portable 100 ton Chiller with Pump Package salient characteristics:



Provide one (1) air cooled chiller unit with the following features:



o Air-Cooled Scroll Packaged Chiller



o Copper Tube / Aluminum Fin condenser coils



o Evaporator-Shell and tube heat exchanger



o Startup Included by manufacturer



o 60 hertz; 460 volt 3 phases



o High efficiency/performance



o Full factory refrigerant charge



o Provided freeze protection (External T-STAT control)



o Refrigerant isolation valves (discharge valve)



o UL listed to US and Canadian safety standard



o ASHRAE 90.1 all versions compliant



o AHRI certified Standard cooling (42 to 65F)



o Grooved pipe connection



o Factory insulation - all cold parts



o High ambient kit (up to 125F)



o Low ambient kit (down to 0F)



o Chiller shall be provided with low leaving fluid temperature option of +10F



o Single point power connection



o Terminal block conn for incoming lines



o Enclosure type UL 1995 rated for outdoor applications



o Water strainer factory installed



o Dual circuit machine for staging and efficiency



o Scroll compressors for dynamic staging control and energy conservation.



o Control transformer power



o Integrated non-fused disconnect - “thru the panel operator”



o TEAO fan motors



o Insulated evaporator



o Condenser coil guards



o Phase monitor and phase fail indicator light (red)



o Main power on indicator (green)



o Master on switch



o Common trouble alarm terminal

o Temperature and pressure gauges provided



o Chiller will be provided with standalone DDC temperature controls.



o Chilled water barrel heaters for freeze protection



o Chiller provided with hydronic isolation and drain valves.



o Main power wiring will include single (1) Cam Lok electrical connections



and associated wiring



o Chiller shall be furnished with a 2” x 4” label with white backing and black



lettering stating “NOTE: 480 volt power should be applied a minimum of 1



hour before starting chiller. Compressor oil heaters utilize 480 volt



power.”



• Provide and install pump rated @ 300 GPM @ 100 foot/head. Pump will be



mounted to the chiller skid. The close coupled pump will be integrated into



the interconnecting piping and hydronic components. Installation to include



a pump starter, overload, control switch and breaker.



• Internal chiller piping package to include:



o Integrated bypass to provide operation of local or remote pumps



o Chiller to be provided with isolation/balancing valves, bypass valve for



remote pump operation, in-line strainer with blow down valve, and low



level drain valve.



o Entering and leaving fluid temperature ports and thermometers



o Entering and leaving pressure ports and gauges



o Drain valves at chiller barrel, pump housing and at the piping manifold



lowest point.



o Chiller will be provided with an additional differential pressure safety



switch. This pressure switch is independent of the factory installed safety



switch.



o Provide two (2) additional ¼” access ports for field pressure/temperature



testing.



o Perform hydrostatic pressure testing to 125 PSIG of the entire pump,



piping and component assembly to verify no leaks are present.



o 60’ of quick connect hoses and 60’ of return hoses.



• Provide structural mounting frame for the pump on the chiller skid. Hot



dipped galvanized structural members.



• Provide and install all required electrical power wiring and control devices.



• Provide all required starters, overloads and disconnects.



• The skid shall be fabricated to mount the chiller unit to a trailer unit



• The lifting frame material needs to have to ability to be loaded or moved with forklift



• The chiller shall be attached to the structure along all sides.



• The entire skid and lifting frame shall be provided with a hot dipped



galvanized coating for increased corrosion protection.



• The unit shall be manufactured in accordance with NEC codes, ETL



requirements and labeled with the appropriate 3rd party NRTL as requested.



• Chiller / pump assembly shall be provided with a certified skid / lifting frame



structural calculations and certificates issued by a 3rd party engineering



firm.



• The exterior of the unit shall be properly prepared and coated white.



• Unit to be test run before acceptance
