Sealed bids for the 10 S Brentwood Blvd - Garage Security Improvements will be received by the City of Clayton, Finance Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105-3397, until 2:30 P.M. CST, on January 21, 2025.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:35 P.M. CST, on January 21, 2025 in City Hall Council Chambers, 2 nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105.

The Scope of Work consists of security improvements to the 10 S Brentwood Parking Garage that supports the Clayton Police Department.  These security improvements include replacing four existing parking gates with four high-performance overhead security doors located on the first and second levels and a new, steel security gate located on the third level.  All the overhead doors and the steel security gate are to be connected to and controlled by the City’s Avigilon Security System.  Other appurtenances are included to make the system operational per the plan sheets.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on January 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the 1 st floor lobby, Police Station Main Lobby, 1st floor, 10 S. Brentwood Boulevard, Clayton, MO  63105.  Attendance is strongly encouraged to be considered for this project.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
