REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES RELATED TO THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RFQ# 24-16

In accordance with Florida Statutes, Section 287.055 Consultant's Competitive Negotiations
Act (CCNA), the City of Avon Park, Florida, is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for:

PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES
RELATED TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

At 2:00 P.M., E.S.T. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the downstairs conference room at City Hall, 110 East Main Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825, submittals are due and will be opened and read aloud.

Interested firms shall submit three (3) original proposals and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format in a sealed enclosure bearing the label found on page 2 of this request by 2:00 P.M. E.S.T. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Public Works Building located at 2301 U.S. 27 South, Avon Park, Florida, 33825. Questions must be submitted by Friday, December 27, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. E.S.T.

Responding to the Request for Qualifications

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Request for Qualifications and submit all required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response. Proposals and related forms can be accessed on the City’s website, www.avonpark.city.rfps or by contacting Andy Mogle at amogle@avonpark.city . The same documents may be found on www.DemandStar.com .
