Addendum 1
Update to SCOPE OF SERVICES
Based on questions received regarding the scope of services shown in the RFP, this addendum is to clarify what
the City’s intent is for the project.
There are 108 canned lights in the ballroom that are dimmable. Currently there are 34 of those lights
that are not operational. All canned lights are currently controlled through a Lithonia system with
individual keypads to control on the walls in the ballroom. The goal is to have all canned lights operable
and dimmable via a dimmer switch on the walls in place of the keypads, bypassing the Lithonia system
that is no longer operable.
The ballroom can be divided into 5 separate areas.
o Area 1- 48 total can fixtures. 11 fixtures not working.
o Area 2- 48 total can fixtures. 5 fixtures not working.
o Area 3- 4 total can fixtures. 4 fixtures not working.
o Area 4- 4 total can fixtures. 3 fixtures not working.
o Area 5- 4 total can fixtures. 1 fixture not working.
o There is also a master keypadthat has the ability to dim all the can fixtures.
At the end of the project, all 108 can lights will be operable and all 6 keypads will be replaced with a
dimmer switch (1 each room/area for a total of 5 and one master dimmer) so the Lithonia system is no
longer needed for dimming/lighting control of the can fixtures.
