The Town of Morinville is inviting bids from qualified consultants to lead a reinvention of Morinville’s Land Use Bylaw (LUB). Following the adoption of a new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) in January 2026, Morinville is well-positioned to sustain this momentum and build on the robust community engagement and a reinvented community vision. The new MDP is a growth-oriented document and Administration is seeking consulting support services in developing a new, progressive and approachable Land Use Bylaw that will meet the needs of our dynamic population demographics. Morinville administration will undertake a number of complementary implementation initiatives, as directed by the MDP, concurrently with the LUB project, which will be required to complement and coordinate with the LUB.
