NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Sandusky and shall be addressed to the Director of Public
Works (the “City Engineer”), at 240 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, Ohio 44870, until 1:30pm on Thursday,
February 5, 2026. Bids will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter in the Commission
Chambers at City Hall, for furnishing the material and performing the labor for the execution of:
Refuse Collection on City Property from 3/1/2026 to 2/28/2029 in accordance with the Plans and
Specifications prepared by Director of Public Works, on file in its office, 240 Columbus Ave., Sandusky,
OH 44870.
There is no pre-bid meeting.
Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained electronically by emailing your request to
mvassallo@cityofsandusky.com. If a hard copy of the bid book is preferred, requests must be made in
writing to Melissa Vassallo so that a book may be produced within 24 hours at a cost of $50.00. The
purchaser shall bare all shipping costs or make arrangements to pick up documents. Contact Melissa
Vassallo at the email above.
Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during normal business hours, 8:00am to
5:00pm in the Public Works office in its new location at 240 Columbus Ave and various plan rooms
requesting documents.

mstookey@cityofsandusky.com in writing via email no later than 8:00am on Friday, January 30,
2026.
