CMF HVAC Upgrades Project

Project Description: A. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, incidentals and all other items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
B. The Central Maintenance Facility (CMF) is located at 3050 Commerce Center Place, Louisville, KY.
C. This project provides for demolishing and removing all water source heat pumps and all associated hydronic circulation piping serving the CMF as shown in the plans. Ihe hydronic circulation piping will be demolished back to the geothermal pump room. Existing hydronic circulation equipment, including but not limited to pumps, air separators, domestic cold water makeup, etc…, is to remain. New water source unit heaters will be provided in the same locations as previous, connecting into existing supply air, return air, and outside air ductwork systems respectively. A new hydronic supply and return circulation piping system will be provided to serve the new water source heat pumps, connecting back to the existing circulation equipment in the geothermal pump room.
D. The principal features of the Work to be performed under this Contract include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Demolition of water source heat pumps and associated hydronic circulating piping.
2. Installation of new water source heat pumps.
3. Installation of new supply and return circulation piping system.
4. Delegated design and installation of water source heat pump ventilation, heating, and cooling controls.
