County of Vermilion River
The County of Vermilion River is inviting qualified contractors to submit proposals for professional roadside mowing services for the 2026 season. The primary objective is the maintenance of roadside rights-of-way to ensure clear sightlines, traffic safety, and vegetation control.

Work Scope: The Contractor shall perform a one-pass shoulder cut on a minimum of 816 kilometers (507 miles) of municipal roadside.

Operational Window: Mowing is scheduled to be conducted between August 3 and August 28, 2026.

Contractor Responsibilities: The successful proponent must provide all necessary equipment (e.g., tractors and mowers), experienced operators, and fuel.

Safety Requirements: Bidders must submit a detailed equipment list and a safety/lighting plan to ensure high visibility while operating on active roadsides.

Contract Term: This agreement is for the 2026 season, with an option to extend for up to three additional years (2027–2029) subject to mutual agreement.
