The Legislative Affairs Agency (“Agency”) is solicitating bids from experienced and qualified Contractors (“Contractor”) to provide window cleaning services to clean the inside and outside of windows at the State Capitol Building, the Terry Miller Legislative Office Building, the Thomas Stewart Legislative Office Building, the Sky Bridge connecting the State Capitol and Thomas Stewart Legislative Office Building, the State Capitol parking garage windows, the State Capitol courtyard canopies, the Legislative Finance Office Building and only the outside of windows at the Assembly Building Apartments.
A more detailed description of the Services that is to be performed is described in section two (RFQ Specifications) of the attached RFQ 688.
Registration with Procurement Manager : If you are receiving this solicitation from the State of Alaska Online Public Notices website or through email, you must register with the Procurement Manager to receive subsequent amendments. Registration should be in writing and email is preferred. Contact information is shown below.
Pre-Bid Teleconference and Site-visit : All interested Contractors are encouraged to attend an in-person site visit of the Alaska State Capitol Complex (Capitol Complex) service areas with the Procurement Manager. The Agency will provide a site visit of the Capitol Complex service areas for the purpose of planning and preparing the Bidder's Bid for this RFQ. The site visit will be limited to 60 minutes, and all visitors will be required to follow current Capitol Complex policies while on site. Interested Contractors that wish to participate in the site visit, shall meet in Juneau, Alaska at the ground floor lobby of the State Capitol, 120 4th Street at 10:00 a.m., Alaska Time on September 8, 2025. The site visit is non-mandatory.
Deadline for Receipt of Bids : Bids must be received by the Procurement Manager no later than 2:00 P.M. Alaska Time on September 19, 2025 . Late bids will not be accepted.
The Alaska State Legislature complies with the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the Procurement Manager, no later than ten (10) days before bids are due to make any necessary arrangements.
