Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated ยงยง50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Microfilming and Record Preparation Services to the Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
The Division of Family and Children Services, Social Services Administration Unit (SSAU) is responsible for the administration, coordination, supervision, and regulation of public and private sealed adoption records for the state of Georgia. These documents are for permanent retention and for investigating, evaluating, and planning for children and families involved in the adoption process.
SSAU has the responsibility to maintain all of the permanent adoption records processed in the State of Georgia and ensure their protection. This responsibility, in addition to the service-connected activity regarding the protection of adoption records, is mandated by law (GC. Code: 19-8-81).
The Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), will award one (1) contract to the responsive and responsible supplier with the highest combined technical and cost scores.
