The Department of Veterans Affairs, Columbia VA Healthcare System, in support of the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033 intends to issue a task order against existing General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract number 36F79723D0119 to KCI USA, INC. DBA 3M MED SOLUTIONS for daily rentals of the V.A.C. ULTA THERAPY UNIT. The unit is standardized across Veterans Integrated Support Network (VISN) 7. The product is priced on an existing GSA/FSS contract 36F79723D0119 and is the sole source of this specific equipment rental which provides increased therapy options for physicians. The period of performance for the base year will be from August 24, 2026, to August 23, 2027. One additional contract period will be included, which is from August 24, 2027, to May 31, 2028, to coincide with the POP dates for contract number 36F79723D0119. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 33999 with a Small Business Size Standard of 550 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Contracting Officer. Such responses MUST be received no later than Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
