GENERAL NOTES
This addendum is issued for the purpose of clarifying the intent of the contract documents or for making necessary
corrections, deletions, and/or additions to the documents on all items of discrepancy raised up to the time of the
issuance of this addendum.
Each bidder is hereby instructed and authorized to incorporate into his proposal the instructions contained in this
addendum. This addendum forms a part of the bidding and contract documents and modifies the original bidding
documents, dated March, 2026. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in space provided on Bid Form. FAILURE TO
DO SO MAY SUBJECT BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION.
CLARIFICATIONS
Question: On drawing P104, notes P15 and P16 call to demolish water piping or abandoned piping in this area. Will
1 there be new piping replacing the demolished piping for either of these areas noted that would need insulated?
Answer: No.
Question: Is the rest of the piping on drawing P104 new work that needs to be insulated, other than the piping labeled
2 (E)?
Answer: Yes, all piping indicated on drawings is to be insulated unless marked as existing or (E).

DEMOLISH EXISTING DOMESTIC WATER PIPING UP TO PLUMBING FIXTURE ON LEVEL 6
DEMOLISH EXISTING ABANDONED DOMESTIC WATER PIPING IN THIS AREA.
PROVIDE ISOLATION VALVE AND DI-ELECTRIC UNION AND MAKE CONNECTION TO EXISTING
WATER PIPING INTO PIPE CHASE.
REPLACE ALL WATER PIPING WITHIN EXISTING PLUMBING CHASE AND RECONNECT TO
EXISTING PLUMBING FIXTURES.
GENERAL NOTES:
1. REMOVE ALL EXISTING ABANDONED PIPING ENCOUNTERED ABOVE CEILINGS
SUPPLYING UNUSED FIXTURES ON THE 6TH LEVEL BACK TO NEAREST ACTIVE MAIN AND
CAP.
2. REPLACE ALL ACCESSIBLE CW, HW, AND HWC PIPING AS NOTED AND RECONNECT TO
EXISTING PLUMBING FIXTURES.
3. RECONNECT TO EXISTING CW, HW, AND HWC PIPING UP TO
PLUMBING FIXTURES INDICATED TO REMAIN ON 6TH LEVEL.
