The Project involves renewing electrical services for Structure 28/1, which contains eight pumps supplying the Pressure Filter System in Building L/1 at the Millard H. Robbins Jr. Regional Water Reclamation Plant (RWRP). These pumps currently receive power and control signals from Building L/1 through deteriorated underground conduits routed via Building P. Although the fifty year old power wiring remains operable, the conduits are in such poor condition that failed conductors cannot be replaced, and previous AWT work confirmed that control conduits and wiring are largely failed and unreliable.
