Description

The Embassy of the United States of America intends to submit a solicitation for construction of phase two of the perimeter wall for LOCHAB residence.





Please note the solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Kenya will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.



The anticipated construction period is for 120 days if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.



The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.



The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given.Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.



This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
