WHITE VINYL 4-RAIL FENCE REPLACEMEN

The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the WHITE VINYL 4-RAIL FENCE REPLACEMENT project via Bid Express, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following:

Base Bid:
•        The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 3,800 linear feet of existing white vinyl fence along the east side of the I-71 corridor from State Route 665 to Hoover Road, as identified on the attached project map.

The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications for the various bids are:

Base Bid: $162,000.00

Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained from Bid Express only and at the costs associated with the Bid Express service fee schedule. Payment for these items will not be refunded.

•        A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Eagle Pavilion, Fryer Park, 3670 Discovery Dr., Grove City, OH 43123, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. to discuss locations and any questions potential bidders may have.

Schedule: The work shall commence within forty-five (45) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. It shall be substantially completed no later than November 20, 2026.

Access to the location outside of the dates and times listed above is prohibited. The contractor must be registered with the City of Grove City, and all licenses/ bonds must be updated and current. The contractor is responsible for permits.
