Strategic Choice Training

Subject: Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to Juliet Funt (The Juliet Funt Group dba Talking on Purpose, Inc.), Professional Speaker.

The 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Requirement Description:

The Air Force requires specialized training in strategic choice, focusing on improving decision-making capabilities, fostering leadership skills, and enhancing overall mission readiness. The training program must be comprehensive, tailored to the unique needs of the Air Force, and delivered by a provider with a proven track record of success in similar training environments. The programs of Talking on Purpose Inc. are the following: Prioritization, Decision Making, Email efficiency, Meeting acumen, Effective writing skills, Task & Calendar Management, Reductive Mindset, Simplification.

Talking on Purpose, Inc. possesses unique expertise and extensive experience in delivering strategic choice training specifically tailored for military and government organizations based on a book authored and published by the company.

• The foundation of this training is based on the work of the author, published with Harper Collins and taught at both the Army War College and Joint Special Operations University.

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals.
