Solicitation Description:

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (hereafter ¿WMATA¿ or ¿Authority¿) seeks to award a firm fixed price requirements contract, with equipment cost reimbursement for a period of performance from notice to proceed to June 30, 2025, base period, and (4) one year option periods, for structural inspection services. WMATA performs biennial condition inspections of its bridge and culvert structures in accordance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) criteria, and WMATA procedures and work instructions. The current volume of bridge and culvert inspections exceeds WMATA¿s in- house resource capabilities. In response, the Authority seeks to engage a qualified Contractor to support its bridge and culvert inspection requirements.
