City of Show Low Jaques Dam Safety Analysis and Related On-call Services

The City of Show Low (City) invites professional engineering firms to submit a statement of qualifications to provide professional engineering consulting services for a Dam Safety Analysis and related on-call services.
Jaques Dam is an earth fill dam constructed in 1953, located about 5 miles south and upstream of the city center of Show Low, Arizona. Appurtenant structures include a 220-foot-wide, concrete spillway and outlet works. The City recently completed a hydrology and hydraulics study and spillway alternatives analysis for design and reconstruction of the spillway. A dam safety assessment (DSA) is now required, and the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) has prepared a scope of work (SOW) for the DSA. The professional engineering firm will be selected through a qualifications-based selection process.
Statements of Qualifications will be received by the Engineering Department, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
