Linn County Secondary Roads Headquarters - UPDATED October 24 with Addendum

By direction of the Board of Supervisors of Linn County, Iowa, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 26 of the 2007 Code of Iowa, notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by Linn County Auditor’s Office located at Public Service Center, 935 2nd Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 2 p.m., on 05 November 2024 for the project titled Linn County Secondary Roads Department Headquarters. Linn County will not consider bids received after the bid submission deadline, and will return such bids unopened to the late bidder.

A public hearing on this public improvement will be conducted on 06 November 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors meeting in the Formal Board Room. This public hearing shall be on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of construction for this project.

All bid proposals submitted by the time and date stated above will be publicly opened and read by the Linn County Board of Supervisors at its meeting in the Formal Board Room on 06 November 2024 at 10 a.m.

A MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THIS PROJECT. In order for a bid to be considered, bidder or bidder’s representative must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled below.
