NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Donna will receive sealed bids addressed to the Public Utilities

Department and submitted to the City Secretary's Office, located at 307 South 12th

Street, Donna, Texas 78537, until 3:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026, for the Supply

Contract for the Purchase of Caustic Soda-Liquid 46%-50%. Bids received after the

specified deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder

unopened. Please clearly mark the outside of the envelope: "SEALED BID."

Potential bidders are advised that bid documents may be downloaded from the City

of Donna website at www.cityofdonna.org or obtained from the City of Donna City

Hall Purchasing Office, 307 South 12th Street, Donna, Texas 78537. For additional

information, please call (956) 464-3314. Bidders are responsible for obtaining all

information necessary to prepare and submit a responsive bid.

All questions regarding this Request for Bids (RFB) shall be submitted to

purchasing@cityofdonna.org . Please reference the applicable bid number and bid

title in all correspondence. Electronic bids will not be accepted.

The City of Donna reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities

or irregularities, and accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the City.

The City further reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days

following the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and evaluating bidder

qualifications prior to award. Bids received after the specified date and time will not

be accepted.

CITY OF DONNA

BID FORM FOR A SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF

CAUSTIC SODA LIQUID- 46%-50%

I/We hereby submit the following bid for the furnishing and delivery of Caustic Soda Liquid

in accordance with the City of Donna's specifications, excluding applicable taxes.

It is understood that the estimated quantity of Caustic Soda Liquid (pounds) is based on

historical usage and is provided solely to assist bidders in submitting their most competitive

unit pricing. Actual quantities purchased may vary, either above or below the estimated

amount, during the term of the contract.

Unit prices quoted shall remain firm and unchanged for a period of two (2) years from the

date of contract award. All prices shall be quoted F.O.B. Destination, City of Donna, and shall

include delivery to the location(s) and exact unloading point(s) designated by City personnel.

Base Bid

HISTORICAL ANNUAL USAGE

490,000 lbs Per Year

Unit price for two (2) year period with the provision to extend an additional one (1) year

pending City Commission approval.
