Commodity/Service Being Requested:  Cascades Manor House Asphalt Roofing Replacement

Type of Solicitation:  Request for Quotes - It is the intention of Jackson County to bid and award a Master

Agreement to a contractor capable of completing asphalt roofing replacement at the Cascades Manor

House, 1970 Kibby Rd, Jackson, MI 49203.

Type of Resulting Contract: Jackson County will use the results of this process to award a contract to a

Vendor capable of meeting the terms and conditions outlined in this RFQ.

Resulting Contract Term:  Project to be completed in its entirety by April 3, 2025.

ANTICIPATED TIMETABLE

Release of RFQ: December 13, 2024

Site Visit/Pre Bid (Highly Encouraged) January 7, 2025

Bidders Questions Due: January 10, 2025

Questions and Answers Responses Posted: January 13, 2025

Bids Due by (10:00 am/ EST) *: January 23, 2025

*Any response received later than the specified deadline will be disqualified.

Final Agreement Award Determination:  Jackson County reserves the right to make one total award, one

award for each section, multiple awards, or a combination of awards, and to exercise its judgment

concerning the selection of one or more bids, the terms of any resultant agreement(s), and the

determination of which, if any, bid(s) best serves the interests of Jackson County.
