This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) solely for the purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. NNSY is seeking qualified sources to provide personal and general area air sampling for asbestos.

Projected Period of Performance: January – April 2026
Interested parties are invited to submit a capability statement that addresses their ability to perform the requirements outlined in the attached Performance Work Statment Statement (PWS). Capability statements shall be limited to a maximum of 3 pages. Responses should include business size status (small, large, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.), CAGE code or UIE, relevant experience, and any additional details demonstrating capability.
The contractor and all its employees shall conform to the security requirements that govern access to the shipboard spaces, dry dock, or other areas required to accomplish tasked work.
