The Housing Authority of the County of Sacramento is soliciting sealed bids for Invitation for Bid 2430-KPas - Pointe Lagoon Camera Project for the purchase and installation of “state-of-the-art” security camera surveillance systems (Digital Watchdog) throughout the campus at two sites within the County of Sacramento. The installation will include all equipment and labor necessary to provide an additional measure of safety for the residents, and Agency staff. located at 3929 48th Ave, Sacramento, CA 95823, 5259 Young Street, Sacramento, CA 95824 and 5251 Young Street, Sacramento, CA 95824 . Possible subcontracting trades are None . The estimated bonding range is $200,000-$225,000 .
Licensed California C-7 Low Voltage Systems and/or C-10 General Electrical contracting license are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference(s) to be held at the location(s), date(s), and time(s) indicated in the Timeline.
All contractors and potential subcontractors are urged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference(s) including the site inspection. Although attendance is not mandatory, by submitting a bid, contractors aknowledge that they are aware of the existing site conditions.
Bids will be received via OpenGov ONLY until 2:00 pm on Friday, November 15, 2024 at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom at 2:15 p.m.

This contract is subject to The Davis-Bacon Act,, Section 3 Requirements of the HUD Act of 1968,, Federal labor standards, .
For bids in excess of $25,000, bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Pursuant to the California Public Contract Code Section 22300 the Contractor may request that the Agency substitute a security in the amount of the performance retention.
This is a Public Works project. Per California State Labor Code Section 1771.1 (a), a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Notwithstanding any other requirements (including federal labor requirements), this contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
