KSU-Interior Painting Services

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract(s) with a qualified supplier(s) who will provide Interior Painting Services to the Kennesaw State University (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.

The State Entity is seeking multiple suppliers to provide all labor, material, paint, brushes, primer, caulk, supplies, equipment, scaffolding, cleaning supplies, drop cloths, supervision, and all other incidentals deemed necessary for painting university property at both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses.

The State Entity invites experienced, financially secure, and reliable companies to submit bids for interior painting services for multiple University Housing Developments across both campuses. Contractor(s) shall be available to perform these services throughout the week and at the times requested by the University, to include Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and during an emergency. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for painting all types of materials on request from the University.  Other departments on campuses may use this contract, although there is no guarantee of additional work.

It is the intent of the State Entity to award multiple contracts (a minimum of 3-6) for the initial term of one (1) year with four (4) one (1) year option(s) to renew, which options shall be exercisable at the sole discretion of the State Entity.
The State Entity contemplates awarding a contract(s) resulting from the eRFP to the responsive and responsible supplier(s), with the overall highest combined (technical and cost) score.  The State Entity reserves the right to make a single award, multiple awards, or no award, if these options are in the best interest of The State Entity.  Award may be in the aggregate, or by line item, or by group, whichever is determined to be in the best interest of The State Entity.
