INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Description:
The Buffalo Public School District is soliciting proposals from firms to perform Integrated Pest Management Services (IPM) in approximately seventy-five (75) school buildings and facilities. This process is based on detailed monitoring and the interpretation of data that allows accurate decisions to be made on the most effective interventions. These interventions include structural and procedural modifications that establish physical barriers to pests, and reduce the food, water, and harborage available to them. The goal of the IPM Plan is to provide effective, long-term pest control, while minimizing the use of pesticides.
