Pre-solicitation Notice - Snake River Area Office Weed Control
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) requires weed control services throughout the Upper and Middle Snake River areas.
This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561730 - Landscaping Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million. The product service code is F006 Natural Resources/conservation- Land Treatment Practices.
The purpose of this requirement is to prevent and reduce the economic, environmental and social impacts of noxious weeds. Protect project habitat and provide public safety through weed management treatments. The goal is to suppress the expansion and if possible, eliminate noxious weeds. There are approximately 106,791 acres of undeveloped lands within the Snake River Area. Out of these lands 31,431 acres have been identified for treatment each year.
Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. With a base plus four option years.
Base Year: Aug 01, 2026 through July 31, 2027
Option Year One: Aug 01, 2027 through July 31, 2028
Option Year Two: Aug 01, 2028 through July 31, 2029
Option Year Three: Aug 01, 2029 through July 31, 2030
Option Year Four: Aug 01, 2030 through July 31, 2031
The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1726Q0025, (written) is approximately the first week of May 2026. The anticipated closing date is the second week in June 2026. The anticipated award date is the last weed in July 2026, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of the solicitation. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site.
This product will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12; Acquisition of Commercial Products and commercial Services apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
