The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection, is seeking bids for the refinishing of Aero Commander 695B, N905AK. The selected vendor will be responsible for all stages of the process, to include surface preparation, priming, chemical stripping of existing coatings, and proper handling and reinstallation of flight control surfaces. The aircraft will be refinished according to a specified design that ensures both aesthetic quality and long-term durability. This refinishing is crucial to maintaining the aircraft's operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and continued performance in support of the Division’s wildfire and resource protection missions across Alaska.
BID SUBMITTALBids must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on October 18, 2024 , via email to madelyn.lowe@alaska.gov, or mailed/hand delivered to DNR/DOF 101 Airport Rd. Palmer, AK 99645. Responses received after this date and time will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.
