Summary Scope of Work
The purpose of this procurement is for the Lowell Housing Authority to contract with a qualified electrical contractor who can perform various electrical maintenance and repair services at any time when the agency does not have the available resources to do so. The selected Contractor shall be expected to perform a wide variety of electrical and electronic installations and repairs. Repairs may call for pole and transformer replacement above ground, fuse replacement and associated wiring if necessary.
Anticipated Projects Vacant Unit Electrical Redistribution
The Lowell Housing Authority is actively renovating residential units as they become vacant. As part of this initiative, there are approximately 16 2-bedroom units that will require rewiring and redistribution of electrical service. This shall include but not be limited to the demo of existing wiring, installation of wiring, conduit, junction boxes, circuit breakers, lighting, and smoke detectors.
